Returning to Remembrance — Ag Filleadh ar an gCuimhneamh
As the wheel of the year turns toward Samhain, we are invited into the threshold time of remembrance — of the ancestors, the land, and the deeper threads that weave through our lives. This masterclass with Jenny Ní Ruiséil will explore how spiritual practice can become a living bridge between ancient teachings and contemporary cultural renewal.
Jenny will guide us in exploring:
How we can apply the teachings of traditional yoga and tantra at home to our own journey of cultural remembrance and language revival.
The importance of Sādhanā (daily spiritual practice) as a vehicle for lasting change.
Spiralling ever closer towards inhabiting more of the raw experience of each unfolding moment, sādhanā (literally “moving closer towards the goal”) is a tool from the yoga tradition which can create lasting change in the psyche and, as a result, reflect that change into the outer world we create around us.
The spiralling act of returning — ag filleadh — to ourselves again and again, within the context of an ever-changing cyclical outer landscape, is how we gradually build trust, faith, capacity, and ultimately, relationship.
This relationship may be with ourselves or with aspects of the Self that need tending to — or with particular sites on the land that offer insight, nurturance, and a broader lens through which to view our individual role within the collective.
Together we will move through gentle embodied practices, mantra, and reflection, opening to how remembrance (cuimhneamh) lives in the body, language, and land.
This gathering offers a space to rest in stillness, to listen deeply, and to remember what it means to live in rhythm with both inner and outer cycles.

About Jenny Ní Ruiséil
Jenny is a yoga teacher, musician, and writer whose work bridges non-dual Tantra, embodiment, and Irish cultural remembrance. Rooted in the teachings of Sri Vidya and Kashmir Shaivism, she integrates her background in Irish language and music to explore how mantra, song, and sādhanā can become tools for reconnection — to land, lineage, and living presence.
Her offerings — from yoga classes to devotional singing, immersive trainings, and retreats — are invitations to return to the body as a site of wisdom and belonging. Jenny’s practice is grounded in her life in the west of Ireland, where she continues to weave together threads of yoga philosophy, ancestral memory, and the living Irish tongue.
At the heart of her work is a simple truth: through daily spiritual practice, we remember who we are, and in doing so, we re-member the world.
